Accepting the Zone Quest – Stage One
After you have arrived in the zone that is under attack. Accept the pop up breadcrumb quest and make your way to the combat area. There will be 5 Assault World Quests (AWQ)for you to choose from. They can range from slain quests, to kill counts and resource collection, or a combination of the three.
Consider Teaming Up
An example of an AWQ that can be difficult to do on your own, is the Alliance quest Tend the Wounded, in Drustvar. In it you need to kill 8 x Horde soldiers, easy enough. The difficult part is trying to bandage 6 Alliance Infantrymen. Aside from receiving damage being capable of interrupting the bandaging process. If someone else comes along and saves the soldier while you are trying to deal with the mods. Then that soldier gets up and leaves, and you are unable to add them to your count.
Consider doing the quests as part of a group. Not only will this make things easier and quicker for collecting items or soldiers. It will make downing the elites and members of the other faction, a much easier thing to achieve.
Completing Stage One
Pick 4 out of the 5 AWQs to complete. Either pick them based on your success chance, or which are the most efficient. You don’t need to complete all 5 AWQs to complete stage 1.
Stage Two
As soon as you have completed 4 AWQs, the quest automatically updates and will send you to a new location specific for the zone. Complete the requirement by interacting with the appropriate person, mount or item. This will complete stage 2, and you will phase into the final stage.
Stage Three
The final stage is different for each zone, with some stages beginning by taking you directly to the desired location. Other zones will require you to make your way to the final stages location. The requirements to complete the Zone Assault Quest (ZAQ), could be as simple as an assassination. Others will require more effort to sabotage the enemy factions efforts and defeat their war party.
Handing in the Zone Assault Quest
Just like with the normal Faction World Quests (FWQ). The ZAQs are handed in at the same faction representatives as the FWQs. When completing a ZAQ on your own continent. Look for the faction emissary for that particular zone.
If you have completed an assault against the other faction’s continent. Return to your BFA capital city and find your PvP faction emissary:
- Dazar’alor (South on the Docks) – Ransa Greyfeather, Honorbound Emissary
- Boralus (Near the Ships Boarding Bridge) – Vindicator Jaelaana, 7th Legion Emissary
